PEACE BE STILL

$300

Acrylic painting on 24”x30” canvas

While the disciples were on a boat with Jesus a great storm came filling the boat with water. Jesus was asleep. The disciples feared they were going to drown, and woke Him screaming “We’re about to die!” Jesus arose, rebuked the winds and the storm ceased. They He said to His disciples “Where is your faith?” (Luke 8:24)

If you catch yourself feeling like God left you hanging in the middle of the storm, hear the Lord asking you the same question: Where is your faith?

DO UNTO OTHERS

$500
Acrylic painting, 24”x36” framed canvas

Matthew 7:12, So in everything, do unto others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets

In this painting you are looking at a group of people who are different in their own way. They are of different races, cultures, and genders. They are people who come from different walks of life, different social economic classes, speak different languages and have different perspectives.

Their many differences are unimportant, but what is important is how we treat others who we perceive as different.

When we look past our differences, we find at least one thing that we all have in common, which is the desire to be treated with dignity and respect. While navigating in world full of differences, remember that we reap what we sow.

Psalm 30:5 (in part) …Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Dark times are temporary, whether you’re going through it right now or later, it will be temporary. Jesus has conquered sin and death. He has risen in victory and He will have the last word. God will give us beauty for ashes, turn our mourning into dancing. For every tear shed, know that joy is coming with the morning.

SORROW

$350
Oil pastel with acrylic painting on 20”x24” framed canvas

Ecclesiastes 7:3, Sorrow is better than laughter, for by a sad countenance the heart is made better.

Life is not always happy. In laughter we rarely consider the difficulties of our lives and ways to improve. It is during difficult times of struggle where we are forced to make adjustments that we look more seriously to God, relying on His strength in our weaknesses.

FORGIVEN

$400
Acrylic painting on 22”x28” framed canvas

Colossians 3:12-13, Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

We live in a society where we are quick to cut each other off or cancel someone out without taking the time to understand them. It’s not always easy to forgive, but unforgiveness leaves us with the heavy burden of bitterness and resentment. When we are secure in God’s love for us we can also be secure in showing compassion towards others, even when it hurts. Forgiveness gives us the freedom to let go of the pain and move on.

BROKEN

$600
Mixed media acrylic painting on 36"x24" framed canvas.

Psalms 51:17, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, these O God you will not despise.

King David’s prayer of repentance (Psalm 51) is due to conviction he felt after God confronted David about his sin with Bathsheba.

God, in His love, will use conviction to make us aware of things we need to change about ourselves, such as generational curses, negative attitudes or behaviors that hinder our growth and success, even our own happiness.

In receiving God’s conviction, we allow ourselves to be broken. When we are broken, we are humble, we take accountability, seek God’s forgiveness and allow Him to break us apart and rebuild us into better versions of ourselves.

God is the potter and we are the clay.

JEHOVAH TSIDKENU

$70
God Our Righteousness
Mixed media acrylic painting on 12"x12" framed canvas.

Jeremiah 23:5-6 says, “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, that I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; a King shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely; now this is His name by which He will be called:
THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS."
In this scripture God promised to send us a leader who would restore justice, righteousness and who would save His people. This scripture is reference to Jesus our Messiah, our Good Shepherd.

JEHOVAH NISSI

$70
God Our Banner
Mixed media acrylic painting on 12"x12" framed canvas.

Exodus 17:14-16 says "And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. And Moses built an altar, and called its name The Lord Is My Banner, for he said, 'Because the Lord has sworn: the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.'"

Our enemy is also God's enemy. He goes before us and wages war against our enemies and we know that we already have the victory over every battle because there is nothing too hard for our God.

JEHOVAH JIREH

$70
God Our Provider
Mixed media acrylic painting on 12"x12" framed canvas.

Genesis 22:13-14 says "Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, 'In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.'"
In our times of need we must remember that God is Jehovah Jireh. He will make a way when there seems to be no way.
